How would you describe my growth, professionalism, and engagement?
G has brings so much to the field of art therapy as a professional artist and lifelong learner. His lived experiences and passion shine through in all that he does and continue to inform his growth and professional development. Over the years, I’ve witnessed so much evolution in him personally and professionally, and that certainly translates into how he holds space for clients and approaches the work as an art therapist. He brings thoughtfulness, curiosity, and a genuine investment in both the creative process and the people he works alongside.
What strengths stand out to you in my work or presence?
One of G’s greatest strengths is his deep connection to the creative process and devotion to his art practice. His experiences in the art world have given him a strong understanding of the power of creativity, healing, and human connection.
What qualities do you think I bring to my field of professional practice (the field of art therapy)?
G brings a strong understanding of the intersection between art and healing, grounded in both professional and lived experience. He approaches the work from a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, healing-centered, and compassionate perspective, while remaining authentic and relatable. He has a gentle, grounded presence and a natural ability to meet people where they are.

How would you describe your experience working with me in art therapy?
I overall liked my experience in art therapy. I had never heard of art therapy before, and I thought it was innovative to have assignments during therapy. There were times where I wish I got to speak more about different things, but overall a good experience.
What stands out to you about my approach, style, or presence as an art therapist?
You don't shy away from being completely honest in how you feel. Also your assignments were almost all very creative and on theme to what we would be talking about that day.
What have you gained, learned, or noticed about yourself through our work together?
The main thing I learned is that I am very self-aware of my emotions. I also noticed that I am starting to get myself to wake up early to workout and be active!

How would you describe your experience working with me in art therapy?
The experience of art therapy has been grounding. It’s not only been a space for me to verbally process, it’s been a place for me to heal through creative practice. As someone who feels as though their creative side disengages in the thick of life, therapy has encouraged me to maintain the art-making that fills my cup and gives way to self-expression and self-reflection.
What stands out to you about my approach, style, or presence as an art therapist?
Your presence brings an authenticity that inspires me to also be authentic. It is possible to come to therapy with half-truths and guarded sharing but your approach fosters vulnerability. I’ve learned things about myself that I didn’t know only because I felt comfortable enough to say my genuine thoughts and feelings.
What have you gained, learned, or noticed about yourself through our work together?
I’ve gained strength and capacity to process through the hard parts of my lived experience—those parts I attempted to avoid prior to therapy.

How would you describe your experience working with me in art therapy?
Working with G has been wonderful in helping me to understand my relationship with my partner and also with myself.
What stands out to you about my approach, style, or presence as an art therapist?
G is very present and compared to other therapists I've worked with, he isn't afraid to offer his perspective and use his intuition to point towards solutions that are tailored towards my specific needs.
What have you gained, learned, or noticed about yourself through our work together?
I've been able to re-connect with my inner child in a gentle way that allows me to explore more of my artistic side beyond just creating music. I've also noticed more freedom around my art and expression as well.

“ I can’t recommend Guleus enough , especially if you’re looking for a true guide in the art and wellness space.
He just gets it. As an artist himself, he knows how to hold space for creative expression in a way that’s both grounding and wildly freeing. His leadership is bold but kind, present without ever being pushy. Whether you’re talking, listening, exploring, or simply letting your mind wander onto the page, he knows how to let the process unfold naturally—and beautifully.
What he offers isn’t just about art. It’s about reconnecting with yourself, giving your thoughts and feelings a safe place to land, and letting them take shape however they need to. Every session feels like an invitation to grow.
It’s powerful, it’s playful, and honestly? 11/10 recommend.”
